Hey!
Today, I’m showing you how to sew a fly front zipper quickly and easily!
We all have certain phobias when it comes to learning how to sew. If we let it, this fear can really get in the way of our skill development. For a long time, I refused to sew anything with button holes or zippers because it seemed too hard and time consuming.
But this fear is completely unnecessary (and a little dramatic). Especially when we live in a world with Google! Sewing a zipper fly front is fast and easy- as you can see in the video!
Once you figure out how to sew a fly front zipper, it opens up so many possibilities for what you can sew. Trousers, jeans, and skirts will no longer seem too hard.

I used a pattern, by Burda, with a zipper fly front drawn into/attached to the front trouser pieces.
If your pattern doesn’t have it attached already, you will have to go ahead and attach yours before you get started.
