When I’m looking for certain answers online, such as; what are the fall and winter trends of 2021, I don’t always appreciate having to read a writer’s life story before being told the answer. So, for that reason, I’m just gonna get into the fall and winter fashion trends of 2021 without any extra fluff.
Shine
All things shiny seem to be having a moment. This includes all things from sequins to and metallics. Silver in particular seems to be taking the spotlight.

Bodysuits/One Piece Wonders
Designers from Prada to Maximilian Davis all included one piece suits in their collections this year. Some are fitted and body hugging while others are baggy and loose.

Bright Colours
It seems bright colours are being used to brighten up the season this year. Authors from the British vogue suggest using the bright colour trend as colour therapy- wear brighter colours and feel better.

Dark Denim
Especially in the form of baggy, wide legged pants. But also, blazers, high waisted skirts with pleats, straight-leg turn up styles, and fit and flare dresses.

Puffers
While they used to be considered the opposite of chic, and therefore reserved only for ski trips, puffers are becoming increasingly popular.

Knit Wear and Sweaters
Full length knit dresses and skirts are re-emerging. Perfect for people, like me, who like everything that’s comfortable and warm!

Patch Work
Patch work can be done in so many ways- in a more calculated design using perfectly evenly sized squares, or larger fabric pieces of various sizes pieced together in a seemingly random manner.
Either way, I love it!

Leather/Pleather
Leather or pleather jackets are a classic, so clearly, they’re still in and are unlikely to be going anywhere anytime soon.
This year, there seems to be more of a crop to the jackets as well as embellished details (such as puffed shoulder seams)
